I just got this picture it's of my cousin Danny's little boy Nate. He is now 10 months old, he's up to 17lbs and they said he's doing good. Which is good news after having a rough beginning.

Chelsea's Pet

This is Chelsea's pet turtle she found by the pool. She named it dr. dre. I think the girl's crazy.
Some friends going out to dinner, and just hangin' out in the pool. She doesn't send me any pictures of her working, I've asked for pictures in her uniform so far nothing.

Chelsea & Friends

Finally Chelsea sent us some pictures, here's the castle with no people around she took it before the park opened.

Here she is with some of her roommates. Of course she has to get a picture of herself jumping off the bed. Seems like she's more on vacation than there to work.

This is her and some friends she met from the apartment complex posing at epcot center in front of the Ball.

Update

We talked to Chelsea this morning about 11:30a.m. sounded like she just got out of bed. Yesterday was her official first day of work. She's working on the popcorn cart and after 30days she can move up to the peanut cart. I asked her to send a picture of her in the uniform but she said that it's different depending on the section of park she's working in. She said the work was ok but she can't sit down and her feet hurt. Looks like she needs to go and invest in a good pair of shoes. It doesn't sound like she's ready to come home.

It's time to Leave

Well it's time to leave, we woke Chelsea up early so we could come over and say our good-bye's. I got this picture of Chelsea in my goofy hat before we left. We wanted to try and stop at the go cart so Alex can get one last ride, they didn't open until 11 a.m. and it was only 10:30 a.m. So off we went for the long haul

We stopped at Mickey D's for lunch and ate while we drove. Notice Alex is eating and watching a movie. Boy someone is living the life.

He has it made, after lunch he laid out in the back seat which he didn't have to share and slept.

Our Day at Disney World

Here we are with the star of the show. Of course Mickey Mouse had a nice air conditioned place to have pictures taken all the other characters had to brave the heat.
We are on the tea cup ride, where you sit in a tea cup and spin around while the ride goes around. We did this ride just after lunch, of course they wanted to spin as fast as you can for the whole ride. It was hard trying to keep your lunch down and find something to focus on. When the ride was over we were staggering.

Alex stuck his hand into this statues mouth and found out it has two tongues.

I had Alex to sit down by this Goofy statue, and when he did it started talking.

We are on Goofy's airplane ride. My kind of roller coaster ride, it doesn't leave your stomach above you as continue with the ride.

It was so hot and half-way through the day when we found this water spot, he couldn't resist cooling off his face.

Here we are going into Buzz Lightyear, where you have to shoot all the letter Z's and rack up as many points as you can.
This ride is the Dumbo rideJust a couple birds at the park.

Chelsea's Apartment

Here's the entrance way to her apartment, there's 8 girls to an apartment, 2 bedrooms connected by a bathroom. There's a living room and dinning room and a small kitchen. There is also another bathroom in hallway with just a toilet and sink.
Boy she sure looks happy, especially knowing she's not coming back to michigan.

The girls got the upstairs apartment, the apartments were very nice.

Here she is getting upset that I'm still taking pictures she's just telling me to stop. I stopped but I pulled out my video camera and started taking videos.

I guess she's settled in now, she's been hanging out at the pool. Chelseas meet a few other people from Michigan. Chelsea found her a pet, she found a itty bitty turtle she said it's the size of her fingertip, she has it in her room.
Chelsea will be working at the Magic Kindom park, she'll be working one of the drink carts outside, Daneeka got an inside job. Chelsea said she won't be working the same cart all the time, they'll put her on different ones.

1st Day

We finally made it, Georgia is such a long state to drive through, Florida is even longer if we were to drive through. It was sooooo hot the temps stayed over 100 the whole time. At 8:00 in the morning it would already be 80 degrees. Chelsea will have orientation on Wednesday at that time she will get her apartment. We dropped them off and decided to find things to do while waiting for Chelsea to call. We got a round of putt putt golf in then lunch before Chelsea called. We picked them up and took them to their apartment and unloaded their stuff. They had a meeting at 3:00pm. Then we went go cart riding, after that it was just to hot Alex wanted to go back to the hotel and swim, so we did.

As soon as we made it to the hotel everyone wanted to go swimming, here they are in the hot tub and of course Chelsea making faces.

Wednesday morning the girls had to be at orientation between 9 & 1. Here they are getting ready, doing hair and faces.

After dropping Chelsea off we decided to find things to do around town. First we started off with a round of putt putt golf.

Alex was anxious about seeing where his ball went, he would putt and run before we putted.

While on one of the holes of golf I spotted this little critter, they're all over down there and they're fast. This one stayed still long enough for me to take it's picture.

We decided to try out the go cart places. This is the 1st place we visited but Alex wasn't tall enough to drive himself. I think he was a little bit afraid, but he enjoyed himself.

This is the second go cart place we went to. He was tall enough to drive himself, and after getting used to the first one he was all for driving himself. We were there early so Alex and John was the only ones on the track, which made it nice.

At the first go cart place we went to they had a pond full of these American Alligators. You can buy food if you would like to feed them, they have fishing poles to put the food on.

On the way to Florida

It was such a long trip down, just to long for me. The 2 girls sleep almost all the way down.
Here they are at B.K. for lunch; as you can see Chelsea doesn't want her picture taken.

I tried again to get her picture but she keeps covering her face.

We spent Monday night at a hotel in Kennesaw, Georgia which is about 20 miles before Atlanta. It was soooooo hot as we traveled the temp stayed over 100. Alex couldn't wait to get into the pool. He was there until the pool closed. Me on the other hand couldn't wait to climb into bed. Chelsea and Daneeka stayed up half the night. It's no wonder they slept through Ohio, Kentucky, Tennesse & part of Georgia.

Hi Ho! Hi Ho!

It's off to Florida we go

We're leaving early in the morning on our way to Florida. What a stressful week trying to get everything together. Also the fact that we're coming back without her. There's going to be 5 of us traveling, Chelsea's roommate Danika is going with us. I'm glad Chelsea has someone to go with her, someone to room with that she knows. While we're there we will spend a day at Disney World, I know you need more than 1 day at Disney World in order to see everything. I guess the sooner we get back the better. I'm not too crazy about going to Florida, that's just one state that I don't care about going to.

I'll talk to ya'll next weekend, and share some pictures.
