Becky

Becky was in the hospital last night, she was passing blood clots. The Dr. told her she was in the early stages of having a miscarriage. Lisa and Becky are taking it very hard.

Day at Park

Lisa and I went to the park today, we rode about 15 miles, and then we sat down by the water it was just so pretty and blue. The first picture I took a couple days ago when I went by myself. I love riding in this park by the water it's just pretty and calming.

There were so many boats on the water today, sailboats, speedboats, bigger boats and ships plus this guy in a canoe.

By the way if you haven't heard Becky is gonna have a baby they just found out this week.

Alex's Birthday Gift

Bugs!

Lisa and I have been going to the park walking and riding our bikes. Lisa couldn't go saturday so I went by myself. Big mistake! the park was full of fish flies. They swarmed me like fresh meat. I tried to shoo them away but they kill easy, I got bug juice all over my shirt. I thought that if I rode my bike it would be ok. I even wore my helmet which I bought special because it has a net where the holes are so bugs don't get in. It worked no bugs in my hair but they kept landing on my sunglasses. As long as I was by the water they were bad, through the woods on the other side of park was no bugs. I only made it once around the park, I couldn't take the bugs anymore.

Lisa and I have been going to the recreation center and taking fitness classes. We decided to do a yearly membership, we were able to split the cost with just a small add-on fee for the second person. The first person said we couldn't because we lived in seperate households. It's always a good idea to ask a different person. Now we both are able to take as many classes as we want for a year. I've decided to try kickboxing, we'll see how that goes. I'm also trying a Bosu training class, never been on a bosu ball this should be real interesting.

Spring Break

Since I'm off this week I've been trying out different exercise classes at the recreation center. Monday I tried fab abs, Alex had to tag along no one to watch him I was gonna let him sit at back of room. The instructor said he could join 1/2 way through the class he decides to join. Today I went to a 90 min cardio with sculpting and toning. Lisa took a day off work so she could try the class with me. We got a good workout. We then went bike riding for about 6miles. We went out to eat, after we got home he laid on my chair and passed out. I do the classed in the evening but some are only offered during the day, so I'm taking advandage and trying the classes on my week off.

Saturday

Nothing much going on it's spring and it's getting colder. After the week of nice weather I was spoiled. Lisa and I went to our exercise class this morning, were going walking but was a little sore, so we went shopping first the were on our way to walk.
Our Governor wanted to make saturday a don't eat meat day. I couldn't resist Lisa and I went to Texas Roadhouse and had a nice big steak. (It was sooooo good). We came to mom & dad's house and painted my pedestal, (I'm doing Easter pictures at school Monday). Lisa and I never made it to the park to walk, I was cold all day. Brrrrrrrrr!

What a Day!

I had a jury summons and had to report today =( I was in the forth group that was called up, it was a long process at first. I thought they were happy with their selection after they got rid of a few. Then they started getting rid of a lot more and at 2:30 I was called up yuk! I had a sheet of paper with questions on it that I was suppossed to answer. The defendant and others were from the neighborhood close by. I made sure they knew that, I also told them I was held up with a gun to my head in a robbery. The defense didn't want me, and that was ok by me. ^_^

Weekend Happenings.

My kitchen ceiling leaks and John would never fix it. He really don't care now, he was here saturday, looked at it then just left. Can't afford to fix it right now so the next best thing is to put up a tarp. My nephew Micheal and his friend put it up for me. Instead of fixing the problem John's remedy was to put a bucket in the attic, it didn't work. My kitchen ceiling is not looking to good, it's about ready to fall.

Happy Birthday / Anniversary

Everyone got together Saturday and celebrated dad's birthday and their anniversay.

We had a Mexican Fiesta.

Becky's Reception

Nothing much going on, just working and trying to keep warm. I'm also counting down the days until I get a week off. Two weeks to go, can't wait. Becky and Josh are having their reception this saturday February 6th, we have to get prepared for that such as making food, decorations and etc. I guess more stress on Lisa than the rest of us.

After the wedding alot of us went to Mongolian grill for lunch. Becky and Josh shared an ice cream sundae. The reception wont be until February 6th.

Lunch

Alex and I went to lunch with Lisa, Diane and Becky. We went to the mongolian grill, I've been once or twice but it was when Alex was a baby. This was his first time and he was intensely watching the cook, didn't get that expression cause Diane said something and moved.
This is our food cooking. Becky sure can pack an awful lot of food into such a small bowl, she ended up with the most food, she ended up with 2 little cartons of food to take home one for her and one for Josh. I think I need to take a lesson from her.

A Trip to Cabela's

Lisa, Alex and I went to Cabela's yesterday. We spent a couple hours and I ended up with a good pair of boots, not high fashion boots just warm durable long lasting boots. I wasn't able to find any boots made the way I would like them to fit in any of the stores. Of course I had to take pictures, but by the time we were ending our trip Alex had my camera and he was taking pictures.

Thanksgiving Day

Here's some pictures from Thanksgiving Day. Usually Lisa would put up mom's Christmas tree after dinner and desert. Not this year dad told her no that she wasn't putting it up this early. We've done that way for many years don't know why after all this time he said no except that he's being a scrooge. Notice there's no pictures of him, that's because he would put his hand in front of his face then he yells. Oh well I guess that's what happens when you get old you get grouchy.
