Old Stubborn

I have had problems with a neighbors great grandson, throwing rocks at my truck, throwing apples in my yard etc. I have gotten his picture doing something bad. It just so happened that the police were at the school, they had a talk to him on a different problem. I had a talk with the police, got direct phone numbers to call to report his bad behavior. Since then I haven't seen him at my end of the block, until yesterday I ran got my camera; when he seen it he never came back. That's when I decided to photograph Misty, when the camera was aimed at her she turned and went into her dog house, silly dog I got her anyway.

Cookin in da hood

Just interesting that's it.
I decided to do a drive by shooting (Ha! Ha!) today. This little resturant does alot of it's cooking outside. Usually there are alot of amigos setting around, guess it's just to hot. We're having hot & humid days in the middle to upper 90's.

HOT & HUMID

Since we've been home it's been very hot, dad took Alex out Monday and bought him this swimming pool. He couldn't wait til it was filled with water so as it was filling up he was swimming in it. He's been in the pool most of today, a few times he's had company, such as Chelsea picking him up and throwing him into the water. I have also been in the pool, after I walked my 2 miles.

We left today to come home, it took me 91/2 hrs to drive. As you can see the only company I had fell asleep on me, after he had his morning snooze, we stopped at Wendys for lunch, he's enjoying his frosty. For the next few hours he did keep me company, until the last few hours of the drive, he went to sleep on me again.

I spent saturday morning at my aunts house, when I noticed a car with TN plates. I walked up to my uncles house, to visit my cousin which I haven't seen in 10yrs. The last time I saw her her son was a baby, he's 11yrs old now. It was really good to see her and her family.

Saturday was our last day in Pennington gap, we spent the evening at Sandi's for Taylor's 14th birthday, after the dinner and cake the kids went swimming. Here's Taylor walking around the pool with Alex on his shoulders.

Friday night was commencment night, Alex and Tamaras class got up and sung I have decided to follow Jesus in English and another language. Mrs. Sandy remembered it in both languages from younger days, but couldn't remember what language. The children did really good. This was Alex's first time at Bible school, he really enjoyed himself.

I signed Alex up for vacation bible school at Belcher Chapel baptist church. On saturday before vbs started they had a ralley in the valley. They had games, climbing wall (alex wouldn't do that) jumping house, and other things for the kids. Here the preacher is pulling alex and another child in a rick shaw. Alex enjoyed that
Here Alex and Preacher Shaw is playing a ring toss game.
Alex is jumping in a moon house, he also enjoyed this alot. Bible schools starts July 10th. I know he'll enjoy it.

Major & Smokey

We walked up the road from mamaws house and found these 2 horses, they're owned by a man named Peanut. In this picture Alex is petting Major.

Our Trip down south

We left Detroit at 8am head to Virginia, after a few hours traveling we decided it was lunch time so off to Mickey D's we went. Here Alex is enjoying his happy meal.
After lunch and a few more hours traveling we pulled into a rest area, Alex got to run around for a few minutes. Then it was back on the road again. As you can see all that running knocked him out. I couldn't resist snapping these photos of him sleeping, if we had sound you could hear this kid snore.
We finally made it to our destination at 6:15 pm. I was tired but he was raring to go.
