Halloween Party

They did a soul train line, I couldn't believe he's up and dancing. I was truly shocked.

WAZA

The school is finally offering a sports program, they've started soccer. Alex wanted to join so now he's part of waza, they've only had 2 sessions and Alex seems to enjoy it. Above is a picture of career day when the waza men came to school and introduced it to all the kids.

The Truck

John took Friday off work he came and got the truck, his intentions were to stock up on wood for me and Alex. It didn't work out that way. He loaded the truck with wood and was on his was to Detroit when the fuel pump finally broke down and quit working. I told him what the truck was doing; why do men wait til the last minute before they do anything. Now I'm without a vehicle, it's a good thing I walk to work everyday.

Now when he gets the fuel pump fixed, He'll need to fix the water pump because thats been leaking for a long time. It's a good thing it broke down when he was driving it instead of me, now maybe he'll fix it all.

Weekend

Lisa went back to John's house with me on Saturday. We had plans to walk at the metro park this week but it didn't happen. Alex took his friend from school up with us but when we got there I found out John's dad was in the hospital. I stayed at the house while John went to visit. Lisa and I did alot of organzing we did get alot done. We did drive to the park no one was there to get a pass from and it was cold and we wasn't sure about the trails so we drove around the park and found these deers on the side of the road. I think I should start carrying my good camera.

Re: John's Dad he has a blockage on the inside of his upper leg, they're going to put in a stint to see if that helps, if not they'll do a bypass. His big toe is black and he'll probably loose it.

The Hike

Lisa and I went to John's house today and we decided to go to the state park and walk the trail. There are 3 trails one is 2 miles one is 5 miles and the other is 17 miles. Of course we did the 2mile trail. I swear it felt twice the length. We sure had a good cardiac workout. These are just some of the pictures I took along the trail. You can't tell very well but it was a lot of up and down hill, sure felt like more up than down.

It started raining 1/2 way through but due to the trees we didn't get wet.

I had to stop and turn around and get Lisa walking. Lisa did good she made it, she said 6months ago she wouldn't made it. She's laughing through her pain.

Update:

Mom seems to be doing better they gave her a couple breathing treatments, they did a ct scan and echo. I think she has a monitor on for her heart. She's being her silly self, We all know mom has floaters in her eye and we tell her all the time what they are. Now that she's in the hospital where she had her thyoid surgery and they gave her strong pain med. She seen bugs and now she says the bugs are coming back she didn't get pain medication this time.

Lois

I don't know much right now until Dad gets home. Mom got sick the other day it came on really fast, the Dr. said it is Bronchitis and gave her some medicine. Mom had a Dr's appt today with the Thyroid Dr. He was concerned and had dad take her to the emergency room or family Dr. Family Dr. was gone for the day. The hospital is keeping her overnite to keep an eye on her heart and her breathing.
