Diamond Jack Boat Tour

Alex had a class trip today we went on the Diamond Jack boat tour. It starts at Downtown Detroit, and goes up the river to an Island, and around the Island and onto Canadian waters. We come back down the river to the Ambassador Bridge, a bridge that connects Canada to the U.S.A. Since 911 happened we no longer can go under the bridge. When they get to the bridge they turn around and head back to dock. This first picture is a view of Canada standing on the riverwalk before getting on the boat. The day was very cloudy and not really a good day for pictures.
This is one of the boats coming in to dock. This is not the one we rode ours had a top deck.

This is when we got onto the boat, we got on the bettter of the boats because it had 3 decks the other only had 2, and we got to sit on top. Here is the Bridge that goes to Belle Isle, which is an Island in the middle of the river. It used to be a really nice place to go with things to do; but I haven't been there in many years, so I'm not sure whats there now, but it's probably still nice. The bridge that goes over the river looks as if there's not enough room to go under.

This is us going under the Belle Isle Bridge. The tour guide was joking around with us saying the people on the top deck need to duck because the bridge is low. So as we were going under, as you can see the lady in the front was ducking, then he blows the horn as we were going under and scares us half to death, the man beside us about jumps out of his shoes. This is a water fountian on the Canadian side.

This is a picture of downtown Detroit.

This is the Princess Boat where you can go on board and eat.
This is a view of part of Canada, I took it for the train but it looks like a lady is having her lunch.

This is a river view of Detroit's main post office.
This is Joe Louis Arena, where our Detroit Red Wings play (hockey team).

After the boat tour we ate lunch on the river walk.Chelsea & Alex at heart plaza.
